My name is Hermana Spencer. Of course, that is not my real name. That would be weird.
Hermana means "Sister" in Spanish. As a missionary, we are referred to as Sisters, or Elders (for the men).
I am serving a mission for my church in the Spanish language. No, I do not speak perfect Spanish. Nor, do I think that I will speak perfect Spanish anytime soon. But I am teaching, preaching and working with people in Spanish.
I love music. I love listening to it. I love creating it.
I love to sing and play piano. I can play a few things on violin, guitar and organ.
My biggest weakness is chocolate. I love baking with it, and I love eating it.
I grew up on the East Coast, in Southern New Hampshire. My family moved to the state of Arizona my Junior year of High School.
Before and after my mission, I am going to school at Brigham Young University-Idaho, studying Early Childhood and Special Education.
And....I am a Mormon.
